Welcome, today I’m sharing a sweet little card that unfolds to reveal the message in the centre. I was inspired by the post at Stampin Fancy Friday by Manuela. It looks complicated but is surprisingly easy, which is so often the way with fancy folds and why we’re all intrigued by them I guess. I’m also participating in Kylie Bertucci’s Interntional Blog Highlights Winners Hop. Thank you so much for all the lovely feedback and votes on my entry earlier this month. Bird Ballad Quarter Fold Card with a Twist The post at Stampin’ Fancy Friday had no instructions so I googled and found a tutorial at Annettes Art Alchemy…
There’s something about the humble house when it comes to Christmas, I don’t know why but I’m drawn to them. When I saw these sweet creations by Silke Trapani I just knew I had to make my own versions of them. There is a tutorial you can download from Silke’s website, it’s in German but I was able to follow it easily.
Welcome to this blog hop with talented demonstrators from around the world… Today I am sharing an Easter card and Egg Basket made with Fable Friends and Beauty Abounds stamp sets. Be sure to take the time to hop around and enjoy all the inspiration and ideas from everyone. Fable Friends Easter Card and Egg Basket I loved this stamp set from the start but I hadn’t yet used it. Then I found a card posted by a demonstrator in Germany and I knew I wanted to case her bunny and her beautiful colour combination. I just love how Nicole Kuenzig watercoloured the bunny like it’s straight from a Beatrix Potter storybook.…
Welcome back. I created this card for the keen stampers who come to class twice each month. I do a second set of projects for them and this was one of them in November. I started with an idea from Tammy Beard, her card had the gift holder and was a lovely simple design that I wanted to use however hers was a birthday card. I then found a card by Rochelle Blok that used the Merry Christmas To All stamp set and Merry Christmas Thinlits. So I cased them both to come up with this Merry Christmas card with gift voucher holder.
Team Gifts at OnStage I had just enough of these embroidery hoops to create team gifts at OnStage, a demonstrator event held in Auckland over the weekend. I didn’t have many left because we had made them in a class during October. I was so pleased with how pretty they look and I just love the embroidery hoops which are still trending they make lovely gifts.
Petal Promenade Keepsake Album The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper is pretty stunning! Beautiful floral images along with the gorgeous marbled back side make this paper irresistible. Fresh flowers were used to create this paper collection. See the process of creating the images of the blooms for the paper here. My project today is CASEd from Kim McGillis she posted this album for a blog hop in September, see her post here. A friend of mine recently had a baby girl and I was trying to decide what to make for her when I saw Kim’s post. I thought her design would be perfect.
