Garden Inspired Card Using New Big Shot Embossing Mats Welcome back, this card was inspired by a post from Kim McGillis and the beautiful cards she designed for her butterflies and flowers post in June. I wanted to use the new big shot embossing mats in my class to show how they turn your cutting dies into embossing dies. So to create my garden inspired card using new big shot embossing mats, I changed the first layer to the Springtime Impressions Thinlit Die of the spray of flowers and leaves.
Animal Outing Peek a Boo Card I designed this Animal Outing Peek a Boo Card as a fancy fold for my June classes. The peek a boo action design is from Melanie Marschall and she has a video with the instructions here, it’s in German but you can follow along easily.
Golden Birthday Card with Cake Soiree A good friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator had a big birthday recently. She loves yellow so I made this golden birthday card with Cake Soiree especially for her.
Petal Palette Pocket Card Petal Palette is such a versatile and sweet set and here it coordinates with lots of other stamp sets and dies. This card uses many of my lovely stamp sets, Petal Palette, Jar of Love, Hello Friend, Timeless Textures and Floral Phrases as well as Eclectic Layers, Lots of Labels, Petals & More and Sweet Cake Dies. I cased this card from Jackie Aitken because I wanted an extra special card to acknowledge a friend’s amazing achievement.
Party Pandas What could be more fun on your birthday than a box full of Pandas having a Party? Nothing right! This fantastic Party Pandas set is available in Sale-a-Bration this year. So with a purchase of just $110 before shipping you can have a party of pandas too.
4 Fold Anniversary Card Commission A friend commissioned a card for her husband for their 25th wedding anniversary. This 4 fold anniversary card is what I came up with. The brief was to incorporate some of the things he likes as well as be a keep sake to mark the event. I decided to use the 4 fold card as my design because each page could then tell it’s own story. Otherwise it can be hard to incorporate many different themes into one card design.
