This time it was a get together with others for a Paperartsie team play date. We arranged to meet and everyone bought a plate for a shared lunch, 3 of us prepared projects to teach and Barbara had some extra projects for those who had time to stay a bit longer. It was a fabulous afternoon!
These are the 3 projects we all made together as a group. The centre card is a twist and flip (or something like that). It is in 3 parts, one of them makes the inner part flip out when you open the card.
Below is a photo of the card open. We’d all wanted to make this and Jill had shown us one she made so we nominated her to show us all. It was a little tricky getting it folded but once it’s done it’s amazing watching it open a close, it’s a real wow! I’ll have a card like this for our class in December.
Washi Tape Box
After we made these projects Barbara showed us how to make a box to store washi tape. Boy did I need this, I have 1 overflowing box on my desk for washi tape, I made this one today and I’ll probably need another one so I can get my desk organised. I think I’ll decorate the sides but leave the top so I can stack them.
Ferrero Rocher Box
Lastly we made a tall black box with a lid from Copper Foil. This box has 2 Ferrero Rocher chocolates inside. You can make it taller and it will hold 3 chocolates or you could fill it with Lindt Balls, yum! The flowers on the top are held on with the pine cone embellishment going through the box lid and held there using a toothpick. Such a simple idea but it works great. This was designed by Keren Howell from the UK.
It was such a great day, it’s always a fun time when we all get together. If you’d like to join in the fun at a future Paperartsie team play date you can learn more here about joining as a demonstrator.
