Botanical Prints Medley
My card features the Botanical Prints Medley from page 61 of the Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue. A Medley is a group of co-ordinating products that includes stamps and dies, a bit like a kit but with no pre-designed projects.
I had been admiring projects made with this medley for a while before I purchased it, now I just can’t stop creating with it. I love the contrast of the black and white designs against the colourful fruit backgrounds and the Distinctive stamps are so pretty. I’ve coloured the black and white DSP using blends and markers, watercoloured the stamped images and used nearly all the die cut labels. The little copper bees are soooo cute but I’m saving them for a class I have prepared for when we finish sheltering at home.
My inspiration for this card came from Jackie Bultje I was drawn to the fold over corner. For my card I coloured the main piece of DSP with Blends. Colouring is so much fun and I love how it completely changes the look of the paper.
I coloured another strip of DSP and adhered it on top of a strip of the striped DSP on the inner of the card before adhering to the inside. I also decorated the envelope flap from the stamp set in the medley using Memento Black ink. I think these touches really finish off the card and make it truly unique.

All of this is included in the Botanical Prints Medley and it all coordinates so you can make gorgeous projects really quickly.
I hope you enjoyed this Botanical Prints Medley project and you’ll consider adding it to your next order, here’s a list of the products I used.
If you’re in Auckland you can join my classes once we’re able to gather again.
